Carpenters
The grain follows her hand.
How these were drawn
Ukiyo-e restraint: eye-level views, sparse single-colour grain, one textured plane in an otherwise flat image. On ivory the print needs no white underbase, so this is the finest-detail work in the line. The dovetail is drawn to real 1:8 geometry, because carpenters check.
Buying for yourself
An ivory tee that does not cheapen her own brand, an embroidered crewneck, a tote, and a poster for the shop wall.
Buying it as a gift
Clients give the Dovetail Study poster at the end of a project. It is the piece that works framed in someone else's hallway.
The five
Product imagery is illustrated to scale. Photography follows the first sample run. The person these designs were drawn for is a composite built from published research on women in the trades, not a real customer — the research is in our field notes.
